Alabama Women's Basketball Announces Upcoming SEC Schedule

Led by head coach Kristy Curry, the Crimson Tide is coming off a 24-9 season that included a 10-6 conference mark.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama women’s basketball announced on Tuesday that it will begin its 2025-26 Southeastern Conference (SEC) slate on the road, facing defending SEC champion South Carolina on New Year’s Day.

Led by head coach Kristy Curry, the Crimson Tide is coming off a 24-9 season that included a 10-6 conference mark. The squad will play three of its first five SEC games on the road before returning to Tuscaloosa for back-to-back home contests.

Alabama will host Arkansas on Jan. 4, 2026, followed by Kentucky on Jan. 8, 2026, Tennessee on Jan. 18, 2026, and Mississippi State on Jan. 25, 2026, to round out January’s home schedule.

The Tide is set to host eight SEC opponents at Coleman Coliseum this season, including matchups against South Carolina on Feb. 19, 2026, and first-time visitors Oklahoma (Feb. 15, 2026) and Texas (March 1, 2026).

Other home games include Ole Miss on Feb. 5, 2026.

The league schedule also features road trips to Missouri (Jan. 12, 2026), Auburn (Jan. 15, 2026), Georgia (Jan. 29, 2026), LSU (Feb. 1, 2026), Texas A&M (Feb. 8, 2026), Florida (Feb. 22, 2026) and Vanderbilt (Feb. 26, 2026).

Ten of the 16 teams on Alabama’s SEC schedule earned bids to the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
