TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe has been named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his standout performance in the Crimson Tide's 42-10 road win over Wisconsin.

The award marks Milroe’s first SEC Player of the Week honor of the season and the fourth of his career after receiving the award three times last year.

The honor also represents the fourth time this season that a Crimson Tide player has been recognized by the conference with a weekly award.
The junior from Katy, Texas, accounted for five total touchdowns in the blowout win over Wisconsin, including three passing and two rushing scores.

He completed 12-of-17 passes for 196 yards, connecting on touchdown throws of 31, 26, and 37 yards.
Milroe also rushed for 75 yards on 14 carries, scoring twice on the ground.
Alabama (3-0, 0-0 SEC) will have a bye this week before opening up Southeastern Conference play at home against Georgia on Sept. 28.
