ALDOT To Begin Inspection Of Arch Bridge Friday
ALDOT on Monday announced it will conduct a nighttime bridge inspect on the Arch Bridge that spans McFarland Boulevard.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Department of Transportation on Monday announced it will conduct a nighttime bridge inspect on the Arch Bridge that spans McFarland Boulevard later this week.

ALDOT says the bridge inspection will begin Friday, May 19, and last through Monday, May 22.

As part of the inspection, the bridge crew will have intermittent lane closures on US Highway 82 beneath bridge. Work will begin each night at 8 p.m. and conclude by 5 a.m. the following morning, weather permitting.
ALDOT said motorists should expect possible delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes while the inspection occurs.
