Iron & Ember Golf Simulator Officially Opens At Ol' Colony

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A new indoor golf and entertainment venue has opened at the Jerry Pate Center at Ol’ Colony Golf Course, offering patrons a year-round destination for practice, play and corporate events.

The Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA) on Wednesday announced the official opening of Iron & Ember Golf, a four-bay golf simulator facility featuring business and social gathering space.

As Patch previously reported, Iron & Ember Golf is located at 401 Old Colony Road and features state-of-the-art indoor simulators, private meeting space and the ability to host events for up to 50 guests.

To mark its grand opening, PARA is offering a limited-time holiday special, reducing the price of full facility rentals from $500 to $400 for events scheduled through Jan. 5, 2026.

The two-hour private rental includes exclusive access to all four simulator bays, a meeting room suitable for catering or presentations and full use of the space for groups of up to 50 people.

While food and beverages are not included, the venue offers a golf-themed menu and optional catering from Jalapeños Little Kitchen, now operating inside Iron & Ember.

For guests not seeking a full facility rental, hourly bay rentals are open to the public and geared toward individuals or small groups looking for casual play or practice. The venue also offers annual passholder memberships designed to enhance training opportunities for dedicated golfers.
