TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) on Monday announced plans to replace overhead signs on US Highway 82 near 13th Street in Tuscaloosa.

Work is scheduled to take place overnight, beginning Wednesday at 9 p.m. and ending Thursday at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

ALDOT says westbound traffic on US Highway 82 will be reduced to a single lane during this time.
Motorists are instructed to expect possible delays and are encouraged to observe work-zone speed limits.
