ALDOT To Resurface Stretch Of Veterans Memorial Parkway
Resurfacing work will begin Sunday, March 12 and continue at night until late summer 2023.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) on Thursday announced plans to resurface a portion of Highway 215 — Veterans Memorial Parkway — from 10th Avenue East to the junction of the Traditions Condominiums entrance in Tuscaloosa.

The goal of the resurfacing will be to improve mobility and safety along Veterans Memorial Parkway, with Midsouth Paving tasked with the 1.7-mile , $2.65 million project.

ALDOT says the contractor can only close lanes between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. to reduce the impact on traffic.
