ALEA Gives Update On Quintuple Homicide In Bibb County

WEST BLOCTON, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) on Friday provided updates on a fatal shooting that left four children and a woman dead in West Blocton Thursday.

ALEA says the incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. in the 1000 Block of Greentree Drive in West Blocton.

Once on the scene, Bibb County investigators discovered Brandon Kendrick, 32, of West Blocton, fatally shot a 2-year-old, two 6-year-olds and a 9-year-old, along with his 24-year-old wife, Kelsey Kendrick.
ALEA then said of the four juveniles, two were Kendrick’s children and the other two were relatives.

Kendrick was arrested and has been formally charged with five counts of capital
murder. He is currently being held in the Bibb County Jail with no bond.
