ALEA Seeks Driver Responsible For Killing Pedestrian In Greene County
A pedestrian from Perry County was killed early Friday morning when he was struck by an unknown vehicle on U.S. Highway 11 in Greene County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A pedestrian from Perry County was killed early Friday morning when he was struck by an unknown vehicle on U.S. Highway 11 in Greene County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 3:45 a.m. when Sprott resident Tobias G. Griffin, 39, was struck while in the roadway.

Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on near the 53 mile marker, approximately four miles north of Union.

ALEA says the vehicle involved in the crash, along with the driver, are currently unknown.
