Application Deadline Approaching For Druid City Arts Festival, Live At The Plaza
Application deadlines are quickly approaching for two of Tuscaloosa's most popular events.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa is still accepting applications for artists and live performers for the 2026 Druid City Arts Festival (DCAF), with all submissions due by Friday, Jan. 9, 2026.

The free two-day festiva will return to Government Plaza on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will once again highlight local and regional talent through live music and a wide range of visual art.

Artists interested in securing booth space must submit an application and pay a $25 non-refundable fee.
Officials say only original, handmade work may be displayed or sold, with accepted mediums including contemporary art and sculpture, contemporary craft, traditional and heritage craft, and folk or self-taught art.

Musicians wishing to perform at DCAF must apply separately and are required to include video footage demonstrating at least three live songs.
Applications for Live at the Plaza are also due Jan. 9, 2026.
Performers must submit video of at least three live performances to be considered.
The 2026 series will run every Friday in May and June from 6 to 9 p.m. at Government Plaza.
