TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa on Monday announced it is accepting applications for the Tuscaloosa Public Library Board of Trustees.

The board is tasked with overseeing the library's governance, financial management and strategic planning.

Trustees serve a four-year term that involves setting policies, approving budgets and ensuring that the library serves the needs of it community.

  1. Be a resident of the City of Tuscaloosa
  2. Have a strong commitment to public service and the mission of the library
  3. Possess skills or experience in areas such as finance, education, community service, public relations or another related field.
  4. Be available to attend monthly meetings.
