Arts Council Accepting Applications For Small Grants Program & Arts In Education
The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa is now accepting applications for its annual Small Grants Program and the Arts in Education Grant.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa on Wednesday announced it is now accepting applications for its annual Small Grants Program and the Arts in Education Grant.

Applications will be accepted through Oct. 1.

The Small Grants Program awards up to $1,000 for local organizations and $750 for individual artists for projects scheduled between Oct. 1 and May 15, 2026.
Eligible projects include exhibits, festivals, residencies, training and productions.

The program has distributed more than $140,000 to local artists and organizations since 1986.
The Arts in Education Grant, funded through the Community Foundation of West Alabama, provides support for arts-related projects by local teachers during the same time frame.
