Bama Art House Nostalgic Film Series Returning For Fall And Holiday Seasons
The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa this week announced the schedule for its Bama Art House Nostalgic Fall and Holiday Film Series

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa this week announced the schedule for its Bama Art House Nostalgic Fall and Holiday Film Series, which will kick off in October and feature a selection of classic films at the Bama Theatre.

The Fall Series will kick off on Oct. 8 with the sci-fi horror classic "Alien," which will be followed by Stephen King’s “It” on Oct. 22.

The Fall Series will conclude with the classic thriller “Poltergeist” on Oct. 29.
The Holiday Series will begin in December with a matinee screening of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” on Dec. 21 at 2 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. showing of “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation."

The series will then wrap up with two screenings on Dec. 23 of “Home Alone” at 2 p.m. and “The Polar Express” at 7 p.m.
Box office, doors, and the bar will open at 6 p.m. for evening screenings, with tickets priced at $10 for general admission, $9 for seniors and students and $8 for Arts Council members.
The Arts Council says Discount Punch Card Tickets — offering admission to any 10 Bama Art House films for $70 — are also available and do not expire.

"Golden Tickets" for a special meet-and-greet with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at the “Polar Express” screening are also on sale.
