Billy’s Sports Grill To Host Fundraiser For Tuscaloosa Public Library

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Billy’s Sports Grill and the Tuscaloosa Public Library (TPL) have partnered for a special fundraiser benefiting the Tuscaloosa Public Library Foundation on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

The Percentage Night event will be held at the restaurant's location in downtown Northport from 4 to 9 p.m., with proceeds raised being directed toward enhancements for the TPL's Children’s Department.

The library system says patrons can support the cause by enjoying dinner and participating in activities that include signing up for a library card and sampling the event-exclusive “Reading Rainbow” signature cocktail.

The Tuscaloosa Public Library Foundation also plays a crucial role in supporting the library by supplementing public funds with private donations, including recent contributions to fund the purchase of automated return shelves as part of a renovation of the Circulation Department.
