Brittani Colburn Of West AlabamaWorks! Named To ACCE's Forty Under 40 List

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama on Friday announced that Deputy Executive Director of West AlabamaWorks!, Brittani Colburn, has been named to the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) 2023 Forty Under 40 list.

The annual recognition honors emerging leaders working to shape the chamber of commerce industry and showcases 40 of the industry’s top leaders who have demonstrated success in their careers and made significant contributions to the communities they serve.

The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama said the list includes CEOs and staff professionals from a wide variety of roles and chamber sizes.

Colburn has worked at the chamber since June 2017 and currently provides administrative support to the Region 3 Workforce Development Council/West AlabamaWorks!

She also assists with workforce training efforts throughout the nine-county region served by the organization, while coordinating the activities of numerous workforce development organizations.

“Brittani most often chooses to work behind the scenes, but make no mistake her efforts are felt throughout our programs, which are changing lives throughout our community," Chamber President & CEO Kyle South said Friday. "It’s encouraging when those efforts and results are recognized on a national level.”
