Bryant High School To Host 'Stampede Day' Saturday

Paul W. Bryant High School on Monday announced it will host Stampede Day 2024 on Saturday, Aug. 17.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Paul W. Bryant High School on Monday announced it will host Stampede Day 2024 on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The event will start at 4:30 p.m., aiming to unite students, staff and families from the high school's feeder zone and the broader community.

The festivities will include an introduction of former Alabama football standout Christion Jones, the new head football coach, along with performances by the Bryant High band, cheer, dance teams and other fall sports.

TCS says former University of Alabama football players and Eastwood Middle School student-athletes will also participate, with Eastwood football holding a scrimmage during the event.

Stampede Day will also offer food vendors, music, and games suitable for all ages.
