Chamber Of Commerce Of West Alabama Announces New Board Members, Leadership Team

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama on Tuesday announced that several local business leaders have been elected to serve terms on its Board of Directors.

The Chamber says four new directors have been elected to the 46-member board: Chris Gunter of Buffalo Rock/Pepsi; Cal Holt of Southern Ale House; Shay Lawson of Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors; and Shane Spiller of Spiller Furniture.

“The many successes of the Chamber can be directly attributed to the strength of its volunteer leaders, and this year’s leadership team will further that tradition,” Chamber President and CEO Kyle South said. “I look forward to serving alongside this distinguished group of community and business leaders as we continue to make progress throughout West Alabama.”

Additionally, Brock Corder of The Builders Group and Steven Deal of Pritchett-Moore Inc. were both elected to return to the board for a second three-year term.

The Chamber says each director will serve a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2024.

What's more, the Chamber’s Board of Directors also elected its leadership team for 2024.

Carl Jamison of JamisonMoneyFarmer PC — Chair-Elect.

Michele Coley of Allstate Coley Agency — Outgoing Board of Directors chair.
