City Secures New Booking Agent For Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater
The Tuscaloosa City Council on Tuesday approved to enter into a contract with a new booking agent for the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa City Council on Tuesday approved for the city to enter into a new contract with Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) as the booking agent for the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater.

The city says DWP is the third-largest music buyer in the United States and is known for producing some of the largest and most successful music festivals in the country.

“We are excited for what we are going to bring to Tuscaloosa in 2025,” DWP CEO Danny Hayes said. “The Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater is a first-class venue, and we are grateful to Mayor Maddox for entrusting us to book it.”
Red Mountain Entertainment is the current booking agent for the venue and will continue to book acts through the end of the year.

“Over the past 13 years, the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater has become a vital part of our City’s legacy and a hub for economic development, due in large part to the dedication and efforts of Red Mountain Entertainment," Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox said. “We are excited to continue to grow this legacy with Danny Wimmer Presents as we strive to bring in new talent and create unforgettable experiences for our community.”
