Local Church to Bury Time Capsule Honoring Legacy and Faith
Tuscaloosa, AL — December 5, 2025 – Members of Culver Road Church will gather for a special time capsule burial ceremony on December 14, 2025 at 12:30 PM on the church grounds, located at 2701 Culver Road, Tuscaloosa Al 35401.
This meaningful event is part of the church’s continued mission to preserve its spiritual journey and communal milestones. The time capsule contains handwritten letters, ministry photographs, and other artifacts contributed by the congregation, representing both the church’s history and its hopes for the future.
“Our church is built on stories—of faith, resilience, and community,” said Kimberly Howard, Senior Pastor of Culver Road Church. “This capsule will be a gift to future generations, reminding them of who we were, what we believed, and how we loved.”
The ceremony is open to the public and will feature brief remarks, music, and a time of prayer as the capsule is placed into the earth. It is scheduled to be unearthed in 2050.
