The JROTC at Tuscaloosa County High School is organizing a donation drive to assist those affected by Hurricane Helene.

NORTHPORT, AL — The Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) at Tuscaloosa County High School is organizing a donation drive to assist those affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.

The approaching winter months partly inspired the donation drive, which will collect essential items to be sent to the region through organizations that will ensure that donations reach those in need.

The TCHS JROTC says requested items include: toiletries, canned food, paper towels, clothing, jackets, shoes, nonperishable food items, baby food, diapers and pet food.
