Eight Arrested For Sexual Acts Involving Minors In Tuscaloosa County
An undercover operation targeting individuals seeking to engage in sexual activities with minors resulted in the arrest of eight people.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — An undercover operation targeting individuals seeking to engage in sexual activities with minors resulted in the arrest of eight people in West Alabama.

The following arrested individuals face various charges:

- Lavorian Mobley, 19, of Tuscaloosa: Traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act, transmitting obscene material to a child by computer and electronic solicitation of a child.
- Gregg Lee Thomas, 48, of Tuscaloosa: Traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child.
- Jalan Lewis, 30, of Tuscaloosa: Traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child.
- Kenneth Dylan Williams, 38, Gallion: Traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act, electronic solicitation of a child, possession of a controlled substance with intent and tax stamp required.
- Isaac Essex, 29, of Marion: Traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child.
- Kristopher Austin McCracken, 28, of Northport: Traveling to meet a minor, electronic solicitation and transmitting obscene material to a child by computer.
- Fletcher Williams, 69, of Tuscaloosa: Traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child.
- Efrain Rojo, 25, of Tuscaloosa: Traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child.
The operation was conducted over two weeks by the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force, involved multiple agencies including the Tuscaloosa Police Department, the University of Alabama Police Department, the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Northport Police Department, the ATF, Brookwood Police Department and Trafficking Hope.
The Task Force says the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
