Female Victim Seriously Injured In Overnight Shooting At Tuscaloosa Apartment Complex

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Police and the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit are investigating an overnight shooting that injured one female victim.

Captain Marty Sellers, co-commander of the multi-agency unit, told local media early Thursday morning that the shooting occurred at The Lofts apartments on East 13th Street in Tuscaloosa.

Sellers said a female was shot and had serious injuries but is currently in stable condition.

He also said a male suspect will soon be charged for the shooting and more information will be released at a later time.
