Five Below Announces Grand Opening Date For Northport Location

NORTHPORT, AL — Value retailer Five Below is gearing up to open its newest Tuscaloosa County location in Northport on Friday, Aug. 8.

The new store is located at 2300 McFarland Boulevard, Suite 18, in the Northwood Crossing shopping center, which is also occupied by Publix and Office Depot. This will be the brand's second in the Tuscaloosa area, with the first opening at the Shoppes at Legacy Park.

The new store will feature items across several product categories, including toys, tech accessories, room décor, party supplies, beauty products, snacks and more.

Most items are priced between $1 and $5, with a selection of “Five Beyond” items priced above $5.

Five Below will host a celebration weekend to commemorate the grand opening, featuring music, kids' activities and other entertainment.

The first 100 customers in line on Saturday, Aug. 9, will receive a $10 gift card.

The new location will also feature a Party Shop, which will offer helium balloons, party décor and favors.

Store hours in Northport will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Founded in 2002 and based in Philadelphia, Five Below operates more than 1,800 stores in 44 states.
