Four Rescued In Tuscaloosa Apartment Fire Sunday Afternoon
Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue says four people were rescued and several apartments damaged in a Sunday afternoon fire.

TUSCALOOSA, AL β Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue says four people were rescued and several apartment units damaged in a Sunday afternoon fire off of Crescent Ridge Road.

TFR said the initial report of a fire at Lennox Square Apartments came in shortly before 3 p.m. on Easter Sunday. Four individuals were rescued by firefighters, with one person being transported to the hospital for treatment.

In total, eight apartment units sustained heavy damage in the fire.
TFR says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Tuscaloosa City Council President Kip Tyner said the Red Cross has been notified and will assist with any housing needs for those impacted.
