Four Tuscaloosa Leaders Tapped For 35th Class Of Leadership Alabama

Four Tuscaloosa business leaders have been named among the 35th class of Leadership Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Four Tuscaloosa business leaders have been named among the 35th class of Leadership Alabama and will participate in a yearlong program designed to foster collaboration and address critical issues across the state.

The 2025-26 program year will begin Oct. 15 in Montgomery and continue through May, with sessions also scheduled in Birmingham, Huntsville and Mobile.

“Alabama always benefits from the collective actions and initiatives borne by this proven group of leaders, and once again, it is an honor to assemble such an esteemed and diverse cohort of passionate and experienced professionals from throughout all regions in Alabama," Leadership Alabama Executive Director Ashley Kaplan said.

Leadership Alabama says class members will participate in deep discussions and presentations that explore both the challenges and successes facing Alabama, as well as learn about innovative efforts addressing those issues.

“Leadership Alabama’s long-standing mission is to facilitate strong partnerships and alliances for the good of our state," Leadership Alabama Board Chair Michael Patterson said, "and Class XXXV, as with all previous classes, is comprised of outstanding leaders who will continue to effectively lead Alabama’s growth and innovation."

The following Tuscaloosa leaders were selected for the 35th class

  • Cade Warner, CEO, The Westervelt Co.
  • Jheovanny Gómez, owner, Jalapeños Mexican Grill
  • Yolanda Page, president, Stillman College
  • Katrina Keefer, president and CEO, DCH Health System
