TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa will once again observe Independence Day with its Fourth of July Celebration on the River.

The annual event will be held on Thursday, July 4, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater.

Schedule of events

  • 6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. — City of Tuscaloosa Kid Zone (with games and activities for all ages)
  • 6 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. — DJ Tank Performance
  • 7:55 p.m. – 8:55 p.m. — Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra performance
  • 9 p.m. Fireworks will begin after remarks from Mayor Walt Maddox.
