Greensboro Woman Killed In Monday Morning Crash In Hale County

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says a Greensboro woman was killed in a crash early Monday morning in Hale County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says a Greensboro woman was killed in a crash early Monday morning in Hale County.

ALEA said the single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Hale County Road 51, near Starling Road, roughly 15 miles north of Greensboro.

Investigators believe that the 2002 Toyota Camry driven by 36-year-old Leslie M. Richardson left the roadway and struck a tree.

ALEA said Richardson was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
