TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue and hazmat crews are on the scene of an overturned tanker truck on Joe Mallisham Parkway in Tuscaloosa.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department says the crash occurred at Culver Road, which saw firefighters extinguish a small fire. TFR also said the overturned truck spilled 6,000 gallons of gasoline and 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel.

The road is currently closed as crews work to clear the area and no word has been given on any potential injuries from the crash.
