Historic Tuscaloosa Gearing Up For Full Slate Of Holiday Events
The holiday season is upon us and Historic Tuscaloosa has a full slate of events planned to help the community ring in the season.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The holiday season is upon us and Historic Tuscaloosa has a full slate of events planned to help the community ring in the season.

Here's a breakdown of the events:
- Christmas Open House — Dec. 3
- Bourbon and Barbecue — Dec. 4
- Pine and Prosecco — Dec. 6
- Mistletoe and Masterpieces — Dec. 7
- Tuscaloosa Cameo Guild Christmas Tea — Dec. 10
Christmas Open House
- During this event, children can visit Santa at the Battle-Friedman Home, write letters to the North Pole at the Jemison Mansion, and enjoy Christmas crafts at both locations.
- Hot cider will be also served at the Old Tavern. while hot chocolate and snacks will be provided at some, or all, locations.
- Time: Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- The event is free.
Bourbon and Barbecue
- Guests will receive a flight of three unique bourbons to sample; and bourbon to sip while enjoying a delicious barbecue dinner (sponsored by Crimson Smoker's Catering).
- Wine, beer and a special signature drink featuring bourbon will be available.
- Monday, Dec. 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Tickets: $40 per person/$65 per couple.

Pine and Prosecco
- Create a holiday arrangement alongside Leska Taylor of Leska Creative Artist while sipping prosecco. Attendees will leave with a fabulous, fresh evergreen creation for your table, mantle, or a gift to a friend.
- Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- $150 per person

Mistletoe and Masterpieces
- Attendees can enjoy an evening of art, music, and light hors d'oeuvres. Wine, beer and finger desserts will be provided.
- Proceeds from the event will benefit Historic Tuscaloosa.
- Thursday, Dec. 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bidding for the silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.
- Tickets: $25 per person

Tuscaloosa Cameo Guild Christmas Tea
- The event is open to all 9th and 10th grade young ladies residing in the Tuscaloosa County area are invited to join the Tuscaloosa Cameo Guild members for Christmas Tea.
- Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Battle-Friedman House and Gardens.
- Attendees can meet current members of the Tuscaloosa Cameo Guild, learn about the organization, and enjoy some refreshments catered by Three Birds Baking Co, including scones, macaroons, muffins, and tea.
- The Tuscaloosa Cameo Guild is a group of 11th and 12th grade young women, who during their time as members of this organization, will learn about history throughout West Alabama and the state, contribute to their community by completing service projects, sponsor fund-raisers designed to maintain the Tuscaloosa Cameo Guild Scholarship Fund as well as help with Historic Tuscaloosa needs and meet other young ladies from around the area.
