The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the fatal collision occurred at approximately 8:07 p.m. Sunday, March 24, when a 2004 Honda Accord driven by Quinita Banks, 42, collided head-on with the 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a man from Louisiana.

ALEA says Banks was pronounced dead at the scene, which was roughly one mile south of Tuscaloosa.
The cause of the fatal crash remains under investigation.
