He was charged with second-degree burglary/domestic violence and was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a mandatory 24-hour domestic violence hold, with his bond set at $5,000.
Sources confirm to Patch that the incident allegedly involved a physical altercation between Buggs and an ex-girlfriend.

Judge Jannik's decision to revoke his bond comes amid several pending charges against the native of Ruston, Louisiana, including his most recent arrest on two counts of second-degree animal cruelty.
The state's motion to revoke bond for Buggs says that following his release from jail on bond on his previous charges, he violated his bond conditions when he was arrested Sunday.
Seperately, the accusations against Buggs range from shoving Tuscaloosa Police Chief Brent Blankley in April to pointing a handgun at a female patron of his business, Kings Hookah Lounge, which is facing a long list of code violations.

These violations have resulted in the City of Tuscaloosa considering revoking Buggs' business license due to overcrowding issues, failure to pay city sales taxes and multiple instances of gun violence. It is unclear at this time how his most recent felony arrest and bond revocation will impact his previously scheduled hearing set for next week with the Tuscaloosa City Council regarding his business license.
Despite the numerous accusations against him, Buggs has maintained his innocence on the other pending charges and insists the allegations are part of a concerted effort by the City of Tuscaloosa and its police department to smear his reputation and target his place of business in the hopes of getting it shut down.
Buggs was signed to the Chiefs' practice squad in 2023 ahead of the team's Super Bowl run and signed a reserve/future contract with the team in February.
Drafted out of Alabama in the sixth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Buggs has also played for Las Vegas Raiders and the Detroit Lions. He was also a member of Alabama's 2018 national championship team.
