A familiar yet new flavor is coming to Ol' Colony Golf Course when Jalapeños Little Kitchen hosts its grand opening on Friday.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — A familiar yet brand new flavor is coming to Ol’ Colony Golf Course when Jalapeños Little Kitchen hosts its grand opening on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Iron and Ember.

New signage can already been seen on the Ol' Colony sign at the facility's entrance and the concept is owned by the same culinary minds behind the Jalapeños brand across Tuscaloosa County: Jalapeños Mexican Grill owners Jheovanny Gomez and Justin Grimball.

The grand opening event is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Iron and Ember Golf at Ol’ Colony, where Jalapeños is set up in a brand-new kitchen trailer that is ready to bring its favorites to patrons at the new golf simulator.
Patch previously reported that Iron and Ember features four state-of-the-art Golfzon simulator bays, a private boardroom-style meeting space, upgraded VIP range and short game access, fitness amenities, fire pit seating, and a family-friendly lounge.

Jalapeños Little Kitchen will feature a menu of favorites such as Birria Smash Quesadillas, brisket tacos, sopapillas, chcken wings, queso and more.

Gomez told Patch said it was a "no-brainer" to partner with the Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA) and Iron and Ember on a concept where he hopes "next-level food meets next-level golf."
"Their vision for elevating Tuscaloosa lines up perfectly with what we believe in," Gomez said. "Bringing Jalapeños Little Kitchen to such a vibrant, social environment is something we’re truly excited about, and we can’t wait to serve guests in a fresh and lively atmosphere."
Friday's grand opening is open to the general public at 401 Old Colony Road in Tuscaloosa.
Signs providing directions are placed along the main entrance.
