Tuscaloosa Accepting Submissions For America 250 City Art Poster Project
The City of Tuscaloosa is calling for artists to design an official poster representing the city as part of a nationwide initiative.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa is calling for artists to design an official poster representing the city as part of a nationwide initiative honoring America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

The city says the poster will serve as Tuscaloosa’s contribution to the America 250 City Poster Project, a collaboration between the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

City officials also said the selected poster must be distinctly representative of Tuscaloosa and will be displayed during national America 250 events in Washington, D.C., in January and Long Beach, California, in June.
Artists interested in submitting designs can review contest requirements and upload entries on the official website.

Applications will be accepted through Dec. 30.
