Kentuck Accepting Submissions For 2024 Juried Members Show

NORTHPORT, AL — Kentuck Art Center began accepting submissions on Friday for its 2024 Juried Members Show.

The nonprofit says its Juried Members Show in Kentuck's Teer and SoNo Galleries is open to all members of Kentuck Art Center.

Members can submit up to three original works done in any media, with entries accepted from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Entry Dates are May 10, 11, and 13, with Kentuck's Gallery Shop closed on Sunday.

Kentuck explained that due to a shortage of storage space, works cannot be accepted before this date and online entries are not available.

Here's a look at the entry fees:

• One piece: $30
• Second piece: $15
• Third piece: $10

The exhibition dates will be from June 6 - July 28.

Kentuck said notification of acceptance into the exhibition will be done via email by end of day, Thursday, May 17, with awards presented during June’s Art Night on June 6 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Here's a look at the cash prizes:

• Best in Show: $250
• First Place: $150
• Second Place: $100
• Second Place: $100
• Award of Distinction: $75
