Kickoff Time Revealed For Tide Football Season Opener

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Kalen DeBoer Era at the University of Alabama will officially kick off with an evening game as the Crimson Tide opens the 2024 season against Western Kentucky on Aug. 31 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Kickoff time against the Hilltoppers is set for 6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Alabama is 3-0 all-time against Western Kentucky, with the two schools last facing off in 2016.

News about the season-opener comes after it was announced on Monday that Alabama's highly anticipated visit to Wisconsin will be on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m.

Fox will carry the broadcast for the Wisconsin game, which will see the Tide and Badgers meet for the third time. Wisconsin defeated Alabama in their first matchup 15-0 in 1928, while the Crimson Tide won the 2015 Advocare Classic with a 35-17 victory.
