Local Bank Becomes Adopt-A-School Partner For Woodland Forrest Elementary
The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama's Adopt-A-School program has announced a new partnership between Local Bank and Woodland Forrest.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama’s Adopt-A-School program has announced a new partnership between Local Bank and Woodland Forrest Elementary School.

The Chamber says the collaboration will include monthly and quarterly awards for perfect attendance, celebrations and support for teachers, financial literacy sessions for faculty, and volunteer classroom reading by Local Bank employees.

“At Local Bank, we believe in investing in the future of our community,” a company representative said. “By supporting initiatives like this, we're not only helping shape tomorrow's workforce — we’re building meaningful connections between schools, businesses and the community. We encourage other organizations to get involved and help pave the way for student success.”
Tracey Sanders, math instructional coach at Woodland Forrest, said the partnership will enhance educational opportunities for students while deepening the school’s relationship with the community.

“Their support will help us continue creating meaningful learning experiences for our students,” Sanders said. “Together, we’re investing in the future of every child at Woodland Forrest.”
Woodland Forrest Elementary is also partnered with Thompson Tractor Company through the Adopt-A-School program.
