TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa on Tuesday announced the lineup for its Bama Art House 'Big Screen Fright Film Series,' which is set to begin later this month at the historic Bama Theatre.

The fall series will feature screenings on Sept. 30 and Oct. 14, 22, 28 and 30, with the box office, doors and bar opening at 6 p.m.

Tickets are priced at $10 for general admission, $9 for seniors and students, and $8 for Arts Council members.
Punch cards costing $70 will be good for 10 screenings with no expiration date.

The series opens Sept. 30 with the animated adventure "Monster House" (2006).
Other films on the schedule include Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 horror classic "The Shining" on Oct. 14 and the Halloween favorite "Hocus Pocus" (1993) on Oct. 28.
Additional titles will be announced for Oct. 22 and Oct. 30.
Tickets can be purchased in advance through The Arts Council’s website or at the door.
