No. 4 Alabama Makes Easy Work Of Wisconsin In First Road Test
The Crimson Tide ran away with a blowout victory for the first road win of the Kalen DeBoer era.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer secured his first road win as No. 4 Alabama trounced Wisconsin 42-10 in Madison's Camp Randall Stadium to improve to 3-0 on the season.

The first big momentum swing in the game came early in the first quarter when Wisconsin quarterback Tyler Van Dyke went down with a leg injury before being replaced by backup Braedyn Locke.

Turnovers also proved fatal for the Badgers in the form of two fumbles that were both recovered by Alabama.
After Wisconsin got out ahead early with a field goal, highly touted freshman receiver Ryan Williams snagged two passes, including a 31-yard touchdown in the first quarter — marking the third straight game with a receiving touchdown for the 17-year-old standout from Saraland.

Williams finished the game with four catches for 78 yards and score to lead the Crimson Tide receiving corps.
Receiver Germie Bernard aided in the effort, snagging three passes for 55 yards and a touchdown.
Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe also shined for the offense, leading the team in rushing yards to compliment his effective passing on Saturday. Milroe ended the game with 75 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns, along with going 12-for-17 for 196 yards and three passing scores.
On the defensive side, Que Robinson and Zabien Brown both logged fumble recoveries for Alabama, while Jihaad Campbell led the team with eight total tackles.
Most notably on the defensive side, senior defensive back and team captain Malachi Moore went down with an injury in the third quarter. His status is not known at this time.
Defensive lineman LT Overton recorded the only quarterback sack of the day for the Crimson Tide defense.
Alabama (3-0, 0-0 SEC) will have a bye next Saturday before opening up Southeastern Conference play at home against Georgia on Sept. 28.
