No Injuries In Destructive House Fire Near Northport Tuesday Afternoon

There were no injuries, but a home is considered a total loss after a large house fire Tuesday in northern Tuscaloosa County.

NORTHPORT, AL — A home just outside of Northport in northern Tuscaloosa County was destroyed by a fire on Tuesday.

Officials from Carroll's Creek Fire Protection District responded to the 12000 block of Bone Camp Road on the structure fire call and told Patch that Northstar EMS and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office were also on the scene after the call came Tuesday at 4:23 p.m.

Carroll's Creek said there were no injuries and it is believed the homeowner had been out and returned to see smoke pouring from the house.

The home was deemed a total loss and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
