NORTHPORT, AL — Authorities say there were no injuries in a mobile home fire Thursday night on Yellow Creek Road in northern Tuscaloosa County.

The Carroll's Creek Fire Protection District responded to the call and worked to assist the Yellow Creek and Nicol volunteer fire departments in putting out the blaze.

Carroll's Creek officials confirmed to Tuscaloosa Patch that the trailer was vacant at the time of the fire, with the initial call coming in just after 5 p.m.
The mobile home was considered total loss as a result of the fire, the cause of which remains under investigation.
