TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a Tuesday morning shooting at Forrester Gardens Apartments that fortunately did not result in any injuries.

Captain Marty Sellers, co-commander of the multiagency unit, told Patch that apartments were shot into at the complex on James I. Harrison Parkway.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department said it had also received an initial report of an unoccupied vehicle that was struck.

TPD says the call of the shooting came in at 9:26 a.m.
