The Druid Arts Awards were established to recognize the contributions of volunteers, artists, educators, and corporate sponsors in Tuscaloosa County, with the Arts Council highlighting individuals whose work often goes unrecognized despite their significant impact on the local arts community.
Nominations will be accepted in three categories: volunteer, artist, and educator, across various disciplines including music, visual arts, dance, literature and theatre.

Nominations are also welcome for Patron of the Arts, Corporate Sponsor and Tuscaloosa’s Home Grown, while a Special Award will honor individuals or groups who have supported the arts in unique ways.
The final selections will be made by a committee of the Arts Council Board of Directors, who will review submissions.
