Northport Police Department Accepting Donations For 'Christmas With Cops'

The program provides local children with a holiday shopping experience alongside Northport Police officers.

NORTHPORT, AL — The Northport Police Department (NPD) is seeking community sponsors for its annual “Christmas with Cops” program, which provides local children with a holiday shopping experience alongside Northport Police officers.

The department announced that it will again partner with schools inside the Northport city limits and Walmart to identify children who could benefit from some extra holiday cheer.

NPD says each sponsored child will receive funds to shop for gifts during the event.

Sponsorships are priced at $200, with 100% of each donation going directly to the participating child.
