TCS went on to say that the NHS Jazz Ensemble was originally scheduled to perform at the Alabama Music Educators' Conference in Huntsville last week, but the event was cancelled due to winter weather.

"I've never had a group work harder to prepare for a concert and I am very thankful that they will have the opportunity to perform their program for the Tuscaloosa community," NHS band director John Cain said.
