Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multiagency unit, told local media just after 3 a.m. that investigators responded to the shooting at CRU Lounge on Highway 69 S.

Kennedy said one person was killed in the shooting, which marked the second fatal shooting in Tuscaloosa County in 24 hours, after one person was killed and three others injured in a seemingly unrelated shooting in Buhl early Saturday morning.

No arrests or suspects have been announced at this time and Kennedy said the investigation remains ongoing.
