One Dead, One Injured After Shooting At Creekwood Village
Investigators say one person is dead and another injured following an overnight shooting at Creekwood Village in Tuscaloosa.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit says one person is dead and another injured following an overnight shooting at Creekwood Village in Tuscaloosa.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multiagency unit, told local media early Saturday morning that the Tuscaloosa Police Department and VCU investigators responded to the initial shooting call in the 1700 block of 40th Avenue.

Once at the scene officers found that two male subjects had been shot before Kennedy went on to say that one died from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and Kennedy declined to release anything further as of the publication of this story.
