One Killed, One Injured In Friday Morning Crash On 15th Street

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa woman is dead and a man was hospitalized after a fatal crash on 15th Street near Queen City Avenue Friday morning.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department said two vehicles were involved in the crash in the eastbound lanes of the 1700 block of 15th Street at 7:13 a.m.

TPD also said one of the vehicles struck a third, unoccupied vehicle parked nearby.
Investigators with TPD's Traffic Homicide Unit explained that the drivers of each vehicle were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center following the crash.

One of the drivers — a woman from Tuscaloosa — was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the male driver of the other vehicle was treated for injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
