TUSCALOOSA, AL — Government Plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa was abuzz Friday with entrepreneurial spirit.

Several lemonade stands were set up in the plaza as Tuscaloosa once again observed Lemonade Day, which allows local youth to plan, market and operate their small businesses with guidance from local mentors and volunteers.

Presented by Cadence Bank and benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama, the nationwide initiative aims to teach children business skills by helping them launch and run their own lemonade stands.
