Tuscaloosa Police On Scene Of Shooting At Creekwood Village Apartments

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is currently on the scene of a shooting that injured at least one person Thursday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — At least one person was injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex.

Tuscaloosa Police Department spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor confirmed to Patch that TPD officers responded to the initial call at 12:48 p.m. at Creekwood Village Apartments, which is located at 1750 40th Avenue.

Police arrived to find a male victim had been shot. The extent of the victim's injuries is not known at this time and no arrests have been announced in the immediate aftermath of the shooting.

The case is now being investigated by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.
