Reform Officer Placed On Leave After Video Circulates Of Arrest
Few details have been released about the video, but the Reform police officer involved in the arrest has been placed on administrative leave
REFORM, AL — Reform Police Chief Richard Black says his department is aware of a video circulating on social media depicting the use of force by an officer during the arrest of a citizen on Saturday.

Black, in an announcement with Reform Mayor Melody Davis, said the department is in the process of turning over all materials related to this arrest to the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) and has requested a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the arrest.

The video, which has been widely circulated on social media, shows a White female officer using a Taser on a Black man in handcuffs.
What's more, Black said the officer involved has been placed on administrative leave while the investigation is conducted, which follows city policy.

24th Judicial Circuit District Attorney Andy Hamlin told Patch the man in the video was arrested for trafficking fentanyl and felon in possession of a firearm.
