The first sophomore ever to be awarded Mr. Football by the Alabama Sports Writers Association for his standout play during the 2022 season, his junior campaign that just concluded sealed his legacy as one of the most highly anticipated recruits from Alabama in quite some time.
Williams put up video game numbers in a 31-28 loss to Clay-Chalkville in the state title game last week, with 11 catches for 232 yards and two touchdowns, along with a rushing touchdown and an 86-yard kick return for a score.

This comes after Williams scored 42 touchdowns during his sophomore season, which resulted in just about every high school recruiting site ranking him as the best player in Alabama for the class of 2025 and as the top receiver in his class nationally.
Throughout his illustrious high school career, he has logged a total of 80 touchdowns and over 5,000 all-purpose yards as a receiver and return specialist.
In terms of national rankings, Williams is ranked the No. 3 overall prospect for the class of 2025 by On3, but it is not clear where he will be ranked once he is reclassified into the class of 2024.
Williams received a mountain of offices from Power Five schools, with Ole Miss and Auburn both reportedly making hard pitches to the standout offensive talent.
